The ever changing North Norfolk coastline features many award winning beaches, dramatic vistas, classic seaside resorts and picture postcard villages. This, the quietest, mostly intensely rural part of England is beloved by the Royal Family who own the Sandringham estate near King’s Lynn and now Anmer Hall – the new home of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge. Characterised by its heritage railways and various preserved train stations, Norfolk is possibly most famous for the man-made Broads, a National Park with over 125 miles of navigable lock-free waterways set in beautiful countryside and studded with charming and picturesque towns and villages.

Set in 35 acres of wooded parkland, our base for the tour is the LINKS COUNTRY PARK HOTEL – a magnificent period building with views of the village of West Runton. Rich in traditional charm, the hotel features an innovative restaurant and elegant rooms featuring antique furniture. There is also an impressive golf course and leisure centre with tennis court, swimming pool and gymnasium. All of the comfortably furnished en suite bedrooms feature tv, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. A passenger lift serves all floors.

Departing Newark, we travel via King’s Lynn to Sandringham House for an extended day visit to this, the much loved country retreat of Her Majesty the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. explore this traditional seaside resort with its many interesting shops, pubs, restaurants and tearooms.
