Following the Governments announcement last week about social gatherings being limited to six people, we would like to confirm this does NOT affect any day trips or holidays you have booked with us.
Exemptions cover what businesses such as ours are allowed to
safely and legally offer compared with informal and private events.
Businesses and venues following COVID-19 secure guidelines are able to host groups larger than 30 people although individual groups should still not interact with anyone outside of the group they are with.
In other words, group events are permitted when professionally organised by businesses who have made
risk assessments and put in place good practices for COVID safety. We have robust secure risk assessments in place, and there are risk assessments in place at all the hotels and venues we are using.
Our holidays and days trips for the remainder of the year will only be operating at half of the normal carrying capacity and your seat(s) will be socially distanced from other passengers. Couples or families can of course sit
together and single travellers will occupy a double seat.
We are also requesting all passengers wear a face covering (unless medically exempt)
and wash/sanitize their hands regularly.
Private organisers are being advised that hire of our vehicles will also be subject to the above guidelines.
We do hope this provides reassurance and helps you to understand the distinction
between what is legally permitted privately and what is permitted within a business setting.

Our holiday tours will re-commence from September - the first one to operate being The Gower Peninsula on Thursday 10th September.
We are currently in the process of checking with the hotel and attractions that all is in place to take us and therefore ask anyone who has booked on this tour (or any another in September) that you kindly pay your balance now.
We also intend to operate 2 day excursions in August....

All day excursions have now been cancelled up to the end of July 2020.
All holiday tours have now been cancelled up to the end of July 2020. We are in the process of contacting passengers by letter.
All customers who had paid their balance on a holiday tour will receive a refund of this in due course. Please bear with us - we are working in strictly date order and they are taking time to process due to limited staff availability. Any insurance premium paid will also be refunded.
Customers who have had their holiday cancelled will also receive a legally binding Refund Credit Note for the deposits paid which can be utilised for another holiday (either later this year or next year).
Again please be patient as these are taking some time to process and send out.
Your understanding and compliance with the above is much appreciated by us all.

Following Government advice, and in the interests of health and safety for our staff and customers, our office will be closed to visitors until further notice.
As already advised, regrettably all of our day excursions and holiday tours, have been cancelled until the end of June. All passengers should now have received a letter or a telephone call confirming this (letters for the June excursions will be in the post shortly).
Our telephones will continue to be manned on Tuesdays and Thursday only from 0900 12 noon and our emails will also be monitored. Please note we will be dealing with essential enquiries only on these days.
As we hope you will appreciate we are unable to assist with refund enquiries at the present time. Please be assure
d these will be dealt once it is deemed safe for all of our office staff to return to work. Your patience and understanding of this is very much appreciated.
Regrettably our services (367, 341, 335, 136 and 227) will all be suspended from the end of today (Tuesday 24th March) until further notice. We sincerely apologise to those who regularly utilise our buses but hope you understand we cannot safely continue to operate at the present time.

For August 2020, we have pleasure in offering an overnight stay incorporating all that the vibrant city of Liverpool has to offer. The Albert Dock is home to both the Tate Liverpool and the Beatles Story Museum; take the Ferry across the Mersey, visit the magnificent cathedral (the largest in the UK) or if shopping is your thing then Liverpool One is home to all the big stores or visit Hope Street for its quirky shops, bars and cafes.
Our base for the stay will be the superb boutique style Malmaison Hotel which is located in Princes Dock just a 5 minute walk from the Royal Liver Building. With a glamorous interior décor the accent is on sleek and modern and each floor has a discreet Liverpool theme clad with old Beatles posters and prints of the Liver Building; theres even a giant yellow submarine hanging between the floors! Departing Newark early morning - TW Depot 0710 (parking is available here), B/Stop London Road near Iceland 0720 and Newman Watters 0730, we utilise the motorway system to travel northwest arriving in Liverpool for late morning. After dropping off our bags (please note there is a 5 minute walk from the drop off point to the hotel) the remainder of the afternoon and evening will be yours free to explore the city at your leisure (dinner at the hotel is included). With so much to see and do you will be spoilt for choice why not visit the new Royal Liver Building 360 Visitor Experience and Tower Tour - just a 3 minute walk from the hotel!

Our annual visit to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular for 2020 will once again include a visit to Peterborough for Christmas shopping.
Due to popular demand, our base for the stay will be the superb Heacham Manor Hotel which has a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence. This charming Grade II listed country house property has its own golf course and is set within beautiful grounds on the Norfolk coast near Hunstanton. Features include a restaurant and lounge/bar and all of the well-appointed en suite bedrooms have tv, hairdryer, telephone and hospitality tray. Please note - all bedrooms will be in cottage style accommodation, less than one minute walk from the main hotel. Although there is no passenger lift, several ground floor rooms are available on request only.
Our tour includes deluxe rear raised centre seats for the matinee performance of the Thursford Christmas Spectacular on Thursday afternoon.

Departing Newark, we travel east through Lincolnshire so into Norfolk where we make an extended break for refreshments before continuing on to Thursford for the highlight of the tour the matinee performance of the Christmas Spectacular.
